Terms and Conditions
Green Edtech is a Pearson-aligned online learning academy committed to delivering affordable, scalable, and high-quality academic and professional education. Through live online classes, recorded sessions, and continuous student monitoring, we aim to create a structured and supportive digital learning environment.
As an international online school and structured home schooling program, we emphasize both academic excellence and moral development. Our curriculum follows the Cambridge education system and includes subjects such as Islamic Studies to ensure well-rounded growth.
All students and parents are expected to comply with the following Terms and Conditions to maintain a respectful, disciplined, and effective learning environment at our online high school for international students.
Registration and Google Classroom Access
- By completing registration and receiving access to Google Classroom, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
- All personal information (phone number, email, home address, postal address) must be accurate and kept up to date.
- Any changes in personal details must be reported to management promptly.
- Students may access Google Classroom during a limited trial/demo period. After this:
- You may continue classes,
- Extend the trial, or
- Discontinue without financial obligation.
- Please review term/semester dates carefully before enrolling, as schedules may vary. particularly within structured programs such as Cambridge online classes.
Class Timings and Scheduling
- Live online classes are held on weekdays from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM via Google Meet.
- Students must log in at least 5 minutes before class.
- Parents should ensure students are fully prepared before class (including personal needs such as restroom use or wudhu).
- All online classes must be attended within the scheduled time slot
- Late arrivals will not receive extended class time.
- Recorded lectures will be uploaded to Google Drive for revision.
- If a tutor is unavailable, the class will be rescheduled.
Dress Code
- Students must dress appropriately during live sessions.
- Inappropriate attire is not permitted.
- Girls aged 12–13 and above are required to wear scarves during online classes, in line with Islamic values.
Attendance Policy
- A minimum of 70% attendance is required for promotion to the next grade.
- Students should not miss any subject more than twice per month.
- Guardians will be notified via email in case of excessive absence.
- Parents must inform staff in advance if a student needs to leave early.
- Family vacations during term time are discouraged. If necessary:
- A written leave request must be submitted in advance.
- Repeated absence or lateness without a valid reason may result in disciplinary action and affect academic performance.
Academic Structure and Class Conduct
- Programs are aligned with the Cambridge system and designed by grade and age level.
- Student performance is evaluated through:
- Assignments
- Quizzes
- Participation
- Exams
- Report cards are issued at the end of each term or designated intervals.
- Promotion depends on:
- Attendance
- Academic performance
- Overall participation
Student Conduct Requirements
- Cameras must remain on during class.
- Students must behave respectfully at all times.
- Harassment, disruption, or inappropriate behavior will lead to disciplinary action.
- Homework must be submitted on time via Google Classroom.
- Students are expected to revise lessons regularly after class.
Parent/Guardian Guidelines
- Do not interrupt classes or communicate with tutors during sessions without permission.
- Ensure students do not access unrelated websites or devices during online classes.
- Abusive behavior toward staff or teachers will not be tolerated.
Assessment, Certification and Academic Reports
- Students enrolled in our program will be assessed based on their class participation, assignments, and overall academic performance.
- Upon successful completion of a subject or academic level, students will be awarded a Pearson-accredited completion certificate.
- A detailed report card will also be issued to reflect each student’s academic progress, strengths, and areas for improvement.
Hidayah Academy’s Dars-e-Nizami Enrollment
- Green Edtech has recently collaborated with Hidayah Academy to offer Dars-e-Nizami courses, aiming to combine classical Islamic education with modern learning approaches.
- Students enrolled in Green Edtech can register for Hidayah Academy’s Dars-e-Nizami courses through our website, and likewise, students of Hidayah Academy can also enroll in Green Edtech programs.
Google Classroom Usage
- All materials provided remain the property of Green Edtech.
- Content must not be copied, shared, or distributed.
- Login credentials must not be shared with anyone except guardians when necessary.
Privacy and Security
- Students must not share personal information (phone numbers, emails, payment details) with others.
- All data is handled in accordance with privacy laws and Green Edtech policies.
- As an Online Islamic school, we are committed to maintaining a safe and secure online learning environment.
Payment and Billing
- If you choose to continue regular classes after the trial classes
- Monthly fees must be paid in advance before each billing cycle.
- Students must select at least five subjects per grade level.
- Fees may vary depending on the number of subjects chosen.
Liability and Responsibilities
- Green Edtech will provide initial guidance to guardians on using Google Classroom.
- We are not responsible for:
- Missed submissions
- Late homework uploads
- Resulting academic impact
Updates to Terms
- Green Edtech, as an Online Islamic school for kids and a trusted online learning academy, reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time.
- Parents and students will be notified of any changes.
