About Course

This science course is designed to introduce students to the fundamental concepts and principles of science, including the structure and function of plants and animals, the particle model of matter, atoms, molecules, and ions, and the impact of forces on structures and stability. The course employs a constructivist inquiry approach to learning that encourages students to develop their scientific knowledge, skills, processes, ethics, and attitudes through observation, investigation, and hands-on experimentation.  By the end of the course, students will have a strong understanding of the topics listed above and be able to apply their knowledge to real-world problems and situations.
